Overview

Sarachnis is a beginner-friendly boss located in the Forthos Dungeon. She's an excellent first boss for players learning PvM fundamentals.

Requirements

Minimum - 65+ Combat stats - Basic melee gear - Some food and prayer potions

Recommended - 80+ Combat stats - 43+ Prayer - Crush weapon

Getting There

1. Use Xeric's talisman to Xeric's Look-out 2. Run south to Forthos Dungeon 3. Navigate to Sarachnis lair 4. Alternatively: POH fairy ring C-I-R

Gear Setup

Budget Setup (~1M) - Weapon: Dragon scimitar or Leaf-bladed battleaxe - Head: Berserker helm - Body: Fighter torso - Legs: Obsidian legs or Rune - Cape: Fire cape or Obsidian cape - Gloves: Barrows gloves or Combat bracelet - Boots: Dragon boots - Ring: Berserker ring

Recommended Setup (~15M) - Weapon: Abyssal bludgeon or Inquisitor's mace - Head: Neitiznot faceguard - Body: Bandos chestplate - Legs: Bandos tassets - Cape: Infernal cape - Gloves: Ferocious gloves - Boots: Primordial boots - Ring: Berserker ring (i)

Inventory - 4-6 Prayer potions - Rest Sharks or better - Super combat potion - Teleport out

Mechanics

Attack Styles Sarachnis attacks with: - Melee (most common) - Ranged (egg throw)

Web Attack - Sarachnis webs a corner - Can't be damaged while webbed - Run to opposite side - Wait for her to return

Spawn Attack - Spawns 2 little spiders - Kill them with melee - They heal Sarachnis if not killed

Sticky Web - Occasionally sticks you - Reduces movement - Click away to escape

Strategy

Basic Strategy 1. Protect from Melee 2. Attack with crush weapon 3. Kill spawns immediately 4. Run from web attack 5. Escape sticky webs

Prayer - Always Protect from Melee - Use Piety for faster kills - Bring 4-6 prayer potions

Positioning - Stay close for melee - Watch for web mechanic - React to spawn
