Overview

The Kalphite Queen (KQ) is a two-phase boss in the Kalphite Lair. She's known for the Dragon chainbody and Kalphite Princess pet.

Requirements

Minimum - 70+ Combat stats - 43+ Prayer - Desert Treasure (for Ancient Magicks optional)

Recommended - 85+ Combat stats - Keris partisan of corruption - Elite Desert diary (quick teleport)

Getting There

Standard Method 1. Fairy ring B-I-Q 2. Navigate through Kalphite Lair 3. Use rope on entrance (permanent after first use)

Desert Diary Method (Elite) - Direct teleport via Desert amulet 4 - Much faster

Gear Setup

Melee Setup (Both Phases)

Phase 1 (Crush): - Keris partisan of corruption (best) - Inquisitor's mace - Abyssal bludgeon

Phase 2 (Slash/Stab): - Keris partisan works - Or bring crossbow switch

Inventory - Blowpipe or crossbow (Phase 2) - 6-8 Prayer potions - Sharks or better - Super combat/ranging potions - House teleport

Mechanics

Phase 1 (Beetle Form) - Uses Melee and Magic - Protect from Melee - Weak to crush weapons - Immune to Ranged/Magic

Phase 2 (Wasp Form) - Uses Ranged and Magic - Protect from Magic - Weak to Ranged - Immune to Melee

Attack Pattern Both phases cycle between: - Primary attack (Melee or Ranged) - Magic attack

Strategy

Kill Method 1. Phase 1: Melee with crush, Pray Melee 2. Transition: Switch to Ranged gear 3. Phase 2: Range with Blowpipe, Pray Magic 4. Repeat

Keris Strategy The Keris partisan of corruption: - Works on both phases - 33% damage boost - 1/51 chance for triple damage
