Overview

The Dagannoth Kings (DKs) are three bosses in the Waterbirth Island dungeon. Each uses a different combat style and drops valuable rings.

Requirements

Minimum - 70+ in all combat stats - Tribrid gear available - Ability to switch prayers

Recommended - 85+ Combat stats - Fremennik elite diary (noted bones) - Fremmy hard diary (quick access)

The Three Kings

Dagannoth Rex - Combat: Melee - Weakness: Magic - Drops: Berserker ring

Dagannoth Prime - Combat: Magic - Weakness: Ranged - Drops: Seers ring

Dagannoth Supreme - Combat: Ranged - Weakness: Melee - Drops: Archer's ring

Gear Setup

Tribrid Setup

Melee (for Supreme): - Whip or Abyssal tentacle - Bandos or Obsidian

Range (for Prime): - Blowpipe or crossbow - Armadyl or blessed d'hide

Magic (for Rex): - Trident of the swamp - Ahrim's or Ancestral

Example Inventory - 2-3 Magic switches - 2-3 Ranged switches - Melee can be worn - 6 Prayer potions - Rest Sharks - House teleport

Kill Order Strategy

Standard Rotation 1. Prime first - Pray Magic, kill with Range 2. Supreme second - Pray Ranged, kill with Melee 3. Rex last - No prayer needed, kill with Magic

Why This Order - Prime hits hardest and respawns fastest - Supreme is second priority - Rex is melee only (easy to safespot)

Safespotting Rex

How to Safespot 1. Lure Rex to center area 2. Stand behind rocks 3. Mage from safe distance 4. Rex can't reach you

Benefits - Can focus on Prime/Supreme - Less damage taken - Easier kills

Prayer Management

Protection Prayers - Prime active: Pray Magic - Supreme active: Pray Ranged - Both active: Pray against closest

Tips - Bring 6+ prayer potions - Watch spawn timers - React to spawns

Solo vs Team

Solo - All loot is yours - More challenging - Lower KC/hour - 15-20 kills/hour

Duo/Trio - Split ring drops - Faster kills - Easier learning - 25-35 kills/hour combined
