Overview

The Corporeal Beast is a powerful boss in the Wilderness cave, known for dropping the Spectral, Arcane, and Elysian spirit shields.

Requirements

Minimum - 80+ Combat stats - Summer's End quest - Dragon warhammer or BGS

Recommended - 90+ Attack, Strength - 80+ Defence - Multiple spec weapons

Getting There

1. Games necklace to Corporeal Beast 2. Or run through Wilderness cave entrance 3. Requires Summer's End completion

Gear Setup

Melee (Recommended) - Weapon: Zamorakian spear or Voidwaker - Spec weapon: Dragon warhammer (essential) - Head: Serpentine helm or Slayer helm - Body: Bandos chestplate - Legs: Bandos tassets - Cape: Fire cape or Infernal cape - Gloves: Ferocious gloves - Boots: Primordial boots - Ring: Berserker ring (i)

Why Spear? Corp takes 50% reduced damage from non-spear/halberd weapons. Zamorakian spear is essential.

Spec Strategy

Dragon Warhammer Method 1. Enter with spec weapon 2. Hit DWH specs 3. Teleport out 4. Restore spec at POH 5. Return and repeat 6. Kill after 3-5 successful hits

BGS Alternative - 3-4 BGS specs needed - Cheaper option - Slightly slower

Arclight - Reduces defence after DWH/BGS - Additional spec option - Demon-specific bonus doesn't apply

Mechanics

Stomp Attack - Avoid standing under Corp - Deals heavy damage - Move constantly

Magic Attack - Large energy ball - Pray Magic - High damage

Splatter - Spawns Dark energy core - Core follows and drains HP - Kill or avoid it

Core - Bounces between players - Heals Corp for damage dealt - High priority target

Solo Method

Suicide Method 1. Store gear in POH 2. Spec Corp repeatedly 3. Death pile for more specs 4. Kill with minimal gear 5. Reclaim from death pile

Proper Solo - Requires max gear - Multiple DWH hits - High skill requirement - 5-10 minute kills

Team Method

3-5 Players 1. Designated speccer(s) 2. DPS roles 3. Core killer 4. Faster kills

Mass - 10+ players - Very fast kills - Smaller splits
