Cooking is one of the fastest and cheapest skills to train in OSRS. With the right methods, you can achieve 99 in under 20 hours.

Why Train Cooking?

Training Methods

Levels 1-30: Shrimp to Tuna

Cook basic fish from fishing or GE. - Shrimp: 1-15 - Trout: 15-25 - Salmon: 25-30

Use the Lumbridge Range for reduced burn rate.

Levels 30-50: Wines (Fastest)

Make wines of Zamorak: - XP per wine: 200 - XP/Hour: 400-500k - Buy grapes and jugs of water - 12-second fermentation timer

Levels 50-99: Karambwans

Fastest consistent XP in the game: - XP per karambwan: 190 - XP/Hour: 900k-1M+ (1-tick method) - Cost: ~5-10 GP/XP

Alternative: Wines All The Way

Wine making from 35-99: - XP/Hour: 400-500k consistent - Much cheaper than karambwans - Slightly AFK (14-tick cycle)

Cooking Fish (Profitable)

Cook raw fish from the GE: - Sharks (80+): Small profit - Anglerfish (84+): Small profit - XP/Hour: 200-300k

Access after Song of the Elves: - Free fish to cook - Best for ironmen
