What's the difference between base drop rate and cumulative odds?
Base drop rate is your chance on a single kill. Cumulative odds tell you your overall chance of getting at least one drop across many kills, which is what actually matters for planning a grind.
Why haven't I gotten my drop yet even though I've passed the 'average' kill count?
Drop rates are independent per kill, so going past the average (1/rate) kill count without a drop is common — it doesn't mean the game owes you a drop soon.
Can I use this for pet drop rates?
Yes, pet drop rates work the same way as any other drop rate in this calculator.
Is this calculator accurate?
